EFFECTIVE 2 July 2026 - Coffee Island iPhone Giveaway

 

1. ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

“Brew Your Win” (the “Campaign”) is a skill-based content competition organised by Coffee Island (“Coffee Island”, “we”, “us”, the “Promoter”). Participants create and post an original Instagram Reel filmed at a Coffee Island outlet for a chance to win the Prize. The winner is selected on merit by a panel — this is not a lucky draw, lottery or game of chance. By entering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

 

2. THE PROMOTER

The Campaign is organised by Coffee Island. For any questions, you can reach us at hello@coffeeisland.in.

 

3. CAMPAIGN PERIOD

  • Entries open: 2 July 2026, 00:00 IST.
  • Entries close: 31 July 2026, 23:59 IST.
  • Winner announced: 5 August 2026.

Entries submitted outside this window will not be considered. The Promoter's records of date and time are final.

 

4. WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)

To enter, you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;
  • be a resident of India;
  • hold a public Instagram account and follow @coffeeisland.in;
  • enter your own original content (see Section 6).

Employees, contractors and agents of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible. The Campaign is open across all 8 Coffee Island outlets listed in Section 8.

 

5. HOW TO ENTER (THE MECHANIC)

  1. Visit any Coffee Island outlet. No purchase is necessary — walking in is enough.
  2. Create one (1) original Instagram Reel filmed at the outlet, in the campaign format.
  3. Post it to your public Instagram account, follow @coffeeisland.in, tag @coffeeisland.in, and use #BrewYourWin.

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted; the first valid entry will stand and additional entries will not be counted. Your entry must remain public from submission until at least the winner announcement.

 

6. ENTRY & CONTENT REQUIREMENTS

Your entry must:

  • be your own original work, created by you for this Campaign;
  • be filmed at a Coffee Island outlet;
  • comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines;
  • not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, infringing or otherwise objectionable material;
  • not infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any third party;
  • include the consent of every identifiable person who appears in it.

Entries that do not meet these requirements may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion.

 

7. HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN

This is a skill-based competition judged by a Coffee Island panel. It is not a random or lucky draw, and not based on likes, followers or views. Each valid entry is scored on:

  • Creativity & originality — 40%
  • Emotional truth / wit (fit to the chosen creative route) — 30%
  • Captures the brand feeling — 20%
  • Effort & craft — 10%

One (1) winner will be selected. In the event of a tie, the entry that best reflects the Coffee Island brand will be chosen. The panel's decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

8. PARTICIPATING OUTLETS

Gurugram — HQ27; AIPL Joy Central.
Delhi — GK2; Netaji Subhash Place (NSP).
Pune — Amanora Mall; Tribeca Highstreet.
Mumbai — Eros Cinema, Churchgate; PMC, Kurla.
Telangana — IT Park, Microsoft Building, Nanakramguda

 

9. THE PRIZE

The Prize is one (1) Apple iPhone. There is one (1) prize for the Campaign. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any alternative. If the Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a product of equal or greater value.

 

10. TAXES (TDS)

The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes on the Prize. In accordance with applicable Indian income-tax law, tax deducted at source (TDS) of 30% of the prize value is to be borne by the winner. The Promoter may require the winner to pay the applicable TDS amount, or may deduct or recover it, before the Prize is handed over, and may issue tax documentation accordingly. The winner must provide PAN and other KYC details for tax compliance.

 

11. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIM

The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message from @coffeeisland.in within 7 days of the announcement date. The winner must respond within 3 days and provide valid government photo ID (proof of age and residence), PAN, and contact details to claim the Prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the response window, is found ineligible, or declines the Prize, the Promoter may forfeit the Prize and select an alternate winner.

 

12. LICENSE TO USE YOUR CONTENT

By entering, you grant the Promoter a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, repost and display your entry, your Instagram handle and your name, across Coffee Island's social media, website, in-store and marketing materials, without further notice, permission or compensation. You confirm that you own or control all rights in your entry and have obtained the consent of anyone featured in it. You waive any moral rights in the entry to the extent permitted by law.

 

13. DATA & PRIVACY

By entering, you consent to the Promoter collecting and processing the personal data you provide (such as your Instagram handle, name, contact details, and identity/KYC details if you win) for the purposes of administering the Campaign and complying with law. Your personal data will be kept confidential, used only for these purposes, and handled in line with applicable data-protection law.

 

14. CONDUCT & DISQUALIFICATION

The Promoter may disqualify any entry or participant who, in its reasonable opinion: uses fake or multiple accounts, bots or purchased engagement; plagiarises or submits content they do not own; submits inappropriate, unlawful or brand-damaging content; attempts to manipulate the Campaign; or otherwise breaches these Terms.

 

15. LIMITATION OF LIABLITY & INDEMNITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Campaign or the use or acceptance of the Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received due to technical faults or platform (Instagram) errors. You agree to indemnify the Promoter against any claims arising from your entry or your breach of these Terms.

 

16. INSTAGRAM DISCLAIMER

This Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

 

17. GENERAL

The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the Campaign or these Terms at any time where reasonably necessary or to comply with law, by posting updated Terms. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. The Promoter is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).

By entering the Campaign, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
